High School Summer Immersion Programs in Spain
HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER IMMERSION PROGRAMS
IT´S TIME TO HAVE FUN AND ENJOY ONE OF THE MOST ENRICHING EXPERIENCES IN THE WORLD!
Our Summer Immersion Programs for high school students offer a unique and enriching experience that combines learning, fun, and adventure in one of the most vibrant cities in Spain. In the mornings, students join Spanish youth at a Summer Camp, where they can choose from over 15 workshops, such as robotics, cooking, dance, art, and much more! This full immersion experience is not only fun, but it also accelerates language learning by immersing students in a completely Spanish-speaking environment.
In the afternoons, learning continues with Spanish classes and cultural activities in Seville, where they will discover the history, culture, and gastronomy of Andalusia. We also organize recreational activities to ensure that each day is a new opportunity for learning and entertainment.
On Saturdays, we explore southern Spain together on full-day excursions to places like the beaches of Cádiz or historic Andalusian cities. This program not only guarantees solid Spanish language learning but also offers unforgettable moments and international friendships that will last a lifetime. Get ready for a summer of growth, fun, and discovery!
The program starts every Sunday from June 29 and ends every Sunday until July 27. Arrival and departure days are Sundays.
SUMMER CAMP
With a schedule from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (5 hours per day), students enjoy 25 hours of weekly workshops alongside Spanish peers, where they’ll learn and practice Spanish while exploring creative and technological disciplines. This experience is not only fun but also effectively strengthens their Spanish skills through constant interaction with native-speaking youth.
Each week, students can choose from a wide variety of workshops. Some of our featured programs include:
- Robot Battle LEGO Mindstorms Camp: Build and program robots to compete in exciting LEGO battles.
- Drone Programming Camp: Learn programming and drone control for precision flying and spectacular maneuvers.
- 3D Design and Printing Exploration: Introduction to three-dimensional design and 3D printing, a highly in-demand skill.
- Video Game Creation:
- Scratch Makey: Introduction to creative programming.
- Microbit: Interactive programming with microcontrollers.
- Roblox: Design and programming on the Roblox gaming platform.
- Audiovisual Production: Introduction to video creation, editing, and filmmaking techniques.
- Digital Art and Illustration Course: Digital techniques to develop creativity in graphic arts.
- Adventure in Aerospace Engineering: Hands-on exploration of engineering and aerospace concepts.
- MiniChef Culinary Experience: Cooking workshop where students become young chefs.
- Street Dance: Urban dance classes to improve body expression and enjoy the rhythm.

ACADEMIC PROGRAM
In the afternoons, students participate in an exclusive academic program by the Spanish Institute for Global Education, combining language learning with unique cultural experiences.
The program includes 10 sessions per week, organized as follows:
- Three afternoons of classes (2 sessions of 50 minutes with breaks), where students will improve their Spanish in a practical and dynamic way. The offered classes include:
- Conversation and Oral Communication Skills
- Writing to Communicate
- Grammar Basics for Understanding Language Structures
- Andalusian Cultural Heritage to prepare for cultural activities
- “Spain Today”: Society and Culture – learn about and understand life in Spain
- One afternoon of cultural activities, giving students the chance to discover the rich history and culture of Seville through visits to iconic sites.
- One afternoon of recreational activities, to balance learning with entertainment.
- Weekend (Saturday): Full-day activity to enjoy an excursion either outside of Seville or within the city.
We consider these cultural activities and recreational as part of the academic content.

Our Spanish courses are designed to help students quickly achieve an effective and practical level of Spanish, with the goal of enabling them to think and communicate in the language. Classes are offered at different levels. These courses promote the active use of Spanish, encouraging students to speak and think in the language. The program extends beyond class hours, creating an immersive environment through engaging cultural activities. The methodology is participatory, intensive, and primarily oral. The classes are fun and also demand interest and motivation from the students. Grammar is learned implicitly, meaning it is naturally acquired. Once students know how to use structures and communication skills, grammar becomes visible and understandable.
Upon request, courses can be tailored to prepare students for the SIELE certification (International Spanish Language Assessment Service)

ORIENTATION
Spanish Institute accompanies you from the first moment you arrive in Seville. We pick you up at the airport and introduce you to your Spanish family. Before starting the course, you will do an orientation program that will help you adjust to life in Spain and you will receive information about the schedule, how to move around the city, safety and cultural and sports activities.

This program includes accommodation in a host family in Seville with full room and board; three meals a day throughout your stay.
Living with a family allows our students to fully discover the Spanish culture, life and people. At Spanish Institute we believe that this is an important aspect of the program.
INSURANCE
Our health insurance gives access to the best private hospitals and of course covers everything related to COVID-19. If a student is unwell or contracts this disease, the doctor may prescribe everything from the necessary tests to hospitalization in case of seriousness.
Spanish Institute has developed a COVID protocol to be able to track incidents that may occur, how to prevent and what to do in case of contagion.
